I do not know of any support for parents tribe, but I highly encourage you to get support. My little brother was diagnosed with ADHD and let me tell you our family lived though HELL for many years due to his condition. He tried really hard and the whole thing was terribly heartbreaking. I wish the best for you. Please, please search out support close by you. Do Not Go it ALONE!! Hang in there.

Well the medication is now making him hyper. All he wants to do is talk and talk and talk. So now we don't know if this is the way to go. Maybe a non stimulant.

have you tried just giving him a cup of coffee?? If he is being given a stimulant and it actually stimulates him I would suspect that perhaps his problem is not ADD. It has been my experience that stimulants act the opposite way on ADD and ADHD. Maybe you should check out some alternative therapys. Maybe see a Naturopath? There must be one in GJ. There is a pretty good one in Moab. If you need a name pm and I will sent it to you.
