Haruki ( local favorites » restaurants ) "haruki" the food is great, but the place is a bit americanized. i personally prefer to be able to fit a piece of sushi in my mouth , and that's simply impossible with their special rolls. and i'll second the "date spot" comment

realationships, scary truths and fears

human interactions are difficult. here is an interesting fact:
i am avoiding Ryan (the last person i dated) because I'm afraid of him. not in the sense that he will physically hurt me or anything like that (he didn't even try to stop his ex from throwing me off the roof) but I'm afraid that he won't hear me out, and instead i'll be sitting there listening to what he has to say. this happened on my birthday, about 2 weeks after we broke up - we went hiking and i did a lot of listening. he ... read more

an interesting fact about drawing in art school

my school, to be specific.
i don't know how it works in other places, but i have a feeling it's similar.

soooooo for my fine arts degree in sculpture i'm required to take 7 drawing classes. Part 2 of my blog. Emotionally by not Physically done

5. I am in college still and taking 18 credits right now. Some of you may have seen my posts about having a social life from now on. Well, here is the deal: i am DONE with college. The dreams of a career as an artist have turned into dreams of a career that MATTERS. it's for me, it's for you, and it's sure as hell overwhelming

i'm trying to sleep but i cant - my mind is running wild. i think i may miss the first half of my 6 hour drawing class tomorrow because I won't fall asleep until the morning, and I'll need some energy for tomorrow night. by the way, lets hope it doesn't rain tomorrow night
i never have this problem - i fall asleep at a SIGHT of a pillow or a bed. it really doesn't take much. TV is the ultimate way of putting me to sleep though. But right now I have EVERY thought on my mind. I can feel the ch... read more
