A brief history

about me
As a recent transplant to Louisianna I am the newest member of Port Belly Project from Shreveport. Troupe work is my passion. I am ever amazed at what a group of women can create together!
When I am not dancing I participate in several reenactment groups. I am a member of Ring Tribe, an iron age Celtic reenactment group with the SCA as well as Lady Anne's Regiment, a Scottish 1745 reenactment group.
When I am not reenacting or dancing I am a mother and a Social Worker!

Some of the very cool things my hubby does: Woodworking, Leather crafts, papyrus scrolls, smolts metal, ancient Armor construction, web design, SCA warrior combat, bee keeper, horticulturalist, ethnic culinary wizard and a SUPER snazzy father and husband.

Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself," the alchemist replies. "And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second encounter with God and with eternity."

A fellow social worker begged me to take a tough case. A family in Hawaii wanted to adopt a little girl from Kentucky.
On the trip to Hawaii I visited Hickham Air Force Base and fell in love.
Then I received a letter from a m... read more

Drum Roll please....
I am the proud recipeint of the Ali Gator bite award titled...
"There is Ice in Kentucky." Said with a deep southern accent.
The silly story is that I twisted my ankle jogging in Orlando before I even got to Shake and Bake so for four days of workshop I would load up on Ibuporfin and bind up my ankle and dance all day. At the end of the workshop various funny awards were handed out and I won the "There's Ice in Kentucky" Award. After Amaya recommended that I take it... read more
