I really miss dancing!!!
My First Performance in eight years!
I took a wonderful class session with Sedona, and this was here Student Performance! I had so much fun!

I have been belly dancing since I was in my mothers belly! I started taking lessons when I was 12 with Ruby Sowder in Vancouver, WA which I owe all of my grattitude to. Since then my interests in the dance has increased. I started performing when I was 16 and stopped performing when I got married. Now I am just interested in taking workshops and watching the top performers dance! I love belly dancing with a passion and enjoy watching any good tallent. I just moved to the Bay area and I am looking for good venues and some good arabic restaurants...any suggestions?

I have been telling my husband that I want to compete in Competitions and take belly dancing classes/workshops for a whole year now. He has never told me it's ok or not ok. I know he doesn't want me to dance but I have felt that if I take classes and compete I am not infringing on my personal values. I after all have to take care of me. Ok, so my goal in life is to find a costume like this....My first dance instructor Ruby always had peacocks at her dance studio. I used to live at her studio, listening to the peacocks "caw" outside as I was stretching. They are definetly a majestic creature. So now I could see myself in this costume and remind myself of the good ol'days at Ruby's Back Studio while I dance. What a perfect memory!
