Westy's Tavern ( local favorites » bars / clubs / cafes ) "Super after work hangout" The hospital crowd and Fairmount crowd know this little corner joint to be one of the best hangs. Two pool tables, good music, relaxed atmosphere and tasty bar menu make this a great place to stop after work and chill.

Mexican Post ( local favorites » restaurants ) "An institution of cheap eats and margaritas" is it the best mexican food around? no. best margarita in the city? not even close. the best place to go eat mexican food, have some margarita's and have some fun with your friends? yeah - its the perfect spot for that.

Django ( local favorites » restaurants ) "Great food, simple decor" Django has a well earned reputation as the BYOB to beat in the city. I found the decor simple, short of charming, but it did not detract from the great experience. Cheese please!

Friday, Saturday, Sunday ( local favorites » restaurants ) "Great spot for a date - and special policy on wine" Wines here are all $10 over cost. This lets patrons try something more special than they normally could at other restaurants which charge 200-300% premium. And the food is well worth the trip.
