So I'm having me an early morning nap after working a late night at the theatre when I hear the elevator arrive at my floor.
I'm in the other room so I'm not positive it's my floor. If you take the elevator to the basement you'll be greeted by a locked door.
It has to be opened from the inside of the theatre.
Then comes a knock. Who the hell is here on a Sunday morning?
I'm hardly presentable so I hope they'll realize on their own they've gone to the wrong floor and leave.

Rattle snakes, talking god-coolers, immortal beings and obnoxious real-estate salesmen. Heist a Crow is a comedy that takes a skewed look at life, the afterlife and the broken down elevator in between. And when the elevator tries to break you down, you have to team up with a strange child-like supernatural being and go crow crazy.

HEIST A CROW is an original, absurd comedy about the afterlife. Follow John, a newly-dead, recently-spurned thief (Matt Gunnison) and a disgruntled reaper (Rana Weber) through eternity and points elsewhere as they try to win back the lives they never had. Battling an evil coke-fiend real-estate agent (Tony Summers), an abused angel looking to blow the joint (Carol Rhyu), and a misogynist higher being who may be all powerful or may just be lazy (Jesse Mueller), the duo must track down the souls guarded by a reluctant Pentecostal priest (Jay Middleton) before John loses himself (and his love) to a fate worse than death.

Matt Gunnison, Jay Middleton, Jesse Mueller, Carol Rhyu, Tony Sommers
Rana Weber. Directed by Stuart Bousel and Written by Sean Kelly. posted Sun, June 1, 2008 - 5:10 PM

Circus Finelli presents a Slavic slapstick cabaret with
daring comedy and dangerous cutlery. A one hour show of
Circus Comedy fraught with mishap. Come for sights to
entice and delight: juggling, cows, contortion, dance and disaster.

There is elaborate preshow entertainment where performers
improvise with the audience. Preshow includes face-painting,
and classic games like “Catch the Candy”. Circus Finelli is interactive, bright fun infused with the sounds of
Circus: Crash Cymbals, Accordion, and a jumpy Ukelele.
This show has adult humor with kid sound effects.

Your host at a Circus Finelli show is man-hungry
ringmistress Madame Vinaigrette (Verka Zaskodna).
She is the Czech juggling bombshell with dangerous plans.
She can joke with the audience in seven different languages.
Her musical assistant and assailant is accordionista Luz

And last is Pepito, exploding from all corners.

Have I got just the fucked up place for you. Located in Union Square it's prime
meat to snag tourist dollars. We're a couple of freaks that have infiltrated the hoity toity theatre district. Share with us in this coup.

We're looking for some groups that want to do a regular thing. We'll give you a discount. Help you promote. Give you a drawer to put some things in, a toothbrush, just like a real relationship.

You get a steampunk themed underground cabaret type theatre that people will ohhh and ahhhh over, 55 comfortable seats with room for about 70 total. 20x12 stage with room backstage and an actual dressing room. Unreal huh?
