This idea is being discussed a lot here in Germany. Goetz Werner, who is the owner of a 25000 employee drug store chain, is spearheading the discussion - that's one of the reasons a lot of people are allowing themselves to imagine the idea.
The core idea being that we are potentially free human beings who are interested in our own personal growth and who will work for the betterment of our world... (this needs to happen, otherwise it'll just go down the drain)
We created the machines a...

So I’m about to leave Italy. Just a couple more days. I’ve told my colleagues, but not my boss because nobody has gotten paid yet for last month and I am gambling so see if they will do the deposit before I hand in my letter of resignation. They’ll have to pay sooner or later which was confirmed to me by place that helps you with work related legal matters. The last week has been up and down but I’m generally quite charged up and solid with my outlook on living in Berlin. I’m going to leave h...

There are things that will never be adequately expressed by words (yikes – I actually wrote this). Nor any other artform. The artist approximates his experiences in his works (You see I’m focusing on fundamentals here).
Something wipes the mirror clean for a moment and I become the reflection of something to experience itself.
Inspired ears hear inspired words. Profane ones not. Remembering that I can hear, I turn my eyes away when I don’t.
Who am I to bother you if I can’t see you as you ...

Just for the record: Right now that artist idea seems like a whole pile of horseshit.
If I keep my sanity, things went well.
What I need is people.
We went fishing today.
It was very peaceful.
Perhaps I should resort to alcohol.
(It works, doesn’t it?)
That’s why computers is such a fitting work.
They’re pretty sane.
Except for mine who only plays American DVDs now and it’s not because of the country code.
Caught between the lines.
The old works bears no comfort any longer.
The ne...

Perhaps I’ll just have to be an artist. Become a professional artist. Wow, what a plan. What I lack in talent I can probably make up in willpower. Can one survive being an artist? Non of the other plans I come up with will allow my Spirit to survive. So I might as well. Cornered so to say. There’s a woman who I had a crush on the first time when I was six, the second time when I was thirteen. The two or three times I saw her afterwards I was always speechless and acted and felt like the bigge...

On Monday after my snowboarding trip I take the afternoon off to go to Ivrea to see the second day of the battle of the oranges. Now, “Fight Club” is one of my favorite movies and I think instead of studying psychology people should better read Chuck
Palahnuik’s books to understand the contemporary human psyche, but what I didn’t know is that the idea of beating each other up to get some perspective on life is being practiced here in Ivrea since 1954. The idea is the following: For three da...

I was supposed to go snowboarding with a coworker and her crew, but she flaked out so I have to go by myself. I don’t even mind it so much. Yes it’s more fun with friends and I can tell you that I crave connection deeply, but then there is the advantage of not having to wait for anybody who needs to rent equipment or to not be able to go down the really fun parts because it’s too scary for someone. So I feel privileged to be able to go on this trip all by myself. Hell, one of the biggest ski ...

So it’s carnival in Ivrea tonight. It’s a big thing that goes on for about a week. There’s a lot to say about the history of it and what they do. But that’s not the point right now. The point is my night:
I work in Milan all day and get to Ivrea around seven. Since it’s about an hour round trip drive to my house, I decide to stay in town until the festivities begin. This is the night where everyone runs around in costumes in the city. I have some makeup and my drum in the car. I walk around ...

I don’t know how it happened, but something switched today. Like I’m back. I’m by myself today in our office and have to handle quite a bit of problems and by lunchtime I’m stressed out and after eating I take half an hour to rest/ meditate in my bus. That’s when it happens. All of a sudden I feel this calmness and comfort in my body. From then on all is cool. I feel safe and secure and even inspired. Weird. Perhaps it’s the planetary constellation. I spend the evening re-sorting my stuff an...
