If there is anyone left that i havent mentioned that I'm going to build sculptures in Paris for a month, here it is. Unfortunatley(?) it all happens through BM. Tough choice , I know. eh C' la vie I'm seeking any info on places and things that really stood out to people when they went. so any recommendations would be warmly recieved. if anyone is going to be there in Sept or Oct. let me know. Finally, the culmination of 8 months of work. The "B-Tree" is in Grand Rapids at the sculpture garden. The completion of the largest, most prolific art piece I've ever participated in building. The beginning of the galvanizing spirit of "Participation" in the real world, to continue, I will. Thanks to all of you, my friends everywhere, your support and enthusiasm are within the heart that leads my hands.

20 something straight days of rain (whatever) and I feel peaked. Like my first movie date on a saturday night, about 14-15 years old, wearing my uncles tie and my gramps cologne. Afterwards, while waiting for her mom to come pick us up, We hid in the alley beside the Dolphin Theater... First time I'd ever French kissed (ever), on that hot summer night in Augusta. We rode home in the back seat of her moms Bonneville, holding hands and when we got to my house and i was about to get out of the car, Susan kissed me again, but quick cause her mom was watching, she took my hand, rubbing it across her breast with a goofy smile as she turned back. As i sat on the front porch that night listening to the sequadas this ee cummings poem came to mind. As it does right now. she being Brand -new;and you know consequently a little stiff i was careful of her and(having thoroughly oiled the universal joint tested my gas felt of her radiator made sure her springs were O. K.)i went right to it flooded-the-carburetor cranked her up,slipped the clutch(and then somehow got into reverse she kicked what the hell)next minute i was back in neutral tried and again slo-wly;bare,ly nudg. ing(my lev-er Right- oh and her gears being in A 1 shape passed from low through second-in-to-high like greasedlightning)just as we turned the corner of Divinity avenue i touched the accelerator and give her the juice,good (it was the first ride and believe i we was happy to see how nice she acted right up to the last minute coming back down by the Public Gardens i slammed on the internalexpanding & externalcontracting brakes Bothatonce and brought allofher tremB -ling to a:dead. stand- ;Still)

Dark Metropolis

A fine day in this wet,dark, overcast metropolis. Feels like a panorama from the opening of distorted Noir Batman film. Disillusioned superheroes walk the streets in black rain slicks hunched with hands in pockets.....trundling down dripping alleyways(overhead view)......ebbing towards the sound of a not too far away jukebox. Dimly lit and smoke filled, the Hall of Justice now shows a burlesque review and serves stiff drinks in dirty little glasses. The mutant stars assemble, slow, methodically they pull up their chairs, winks to the ladies, smiles to the boys.....A toast and a bawdy cheer as AC-DC's "Sin City" comes on,.....
