Masankho is a True Blessing - His offer for massage
came at the right time and at the right price. If I
could, I would have paid much more for this care. As it is I am a chef I am on my feet a lot. It was a true gift
to have him travel to my home (where I work
sometimes) after a big catering job and to
have a very professional and caring massage
in the comfort of my own home. I highly recommend
him as a practitioner and hear he is an amazing dance
instructor as well. I look forward to many more
massages and feel very supported and safe knowing
he is walking this earth with all of us; co-creating in the
healing of this planet. I encourage all to welcome his healing hands into your hearts and soma selves.

about me
I am a native of Malawi and an International multi-discplinary performing artist, Educator, Interplay Leader, Cultural diversity trainer and massage therapist. I live in Oakland, California. My work has taken me to Europe, Africa, Asia and all over the United States. I have worked with world leaders, students, children in all different arenas of life. I weave together story, dance, drumming, song and use the wisdom of my ancestors to facilitate my performing, leading and teaching. I feel blessed to have received the "Hero's of Compassion" award from his Holiness the Dalai Lama in 2001.
I only knew three of my Grandparents physically. My Dad's father passed in 1969 (give or take a year), my Mom's mother passed in 1988 and my Dad's Mom passed in 1992. I never saw my Mom's Dad as he passed away before I was born. In the past five years however, I have gotten to know him pretty well. In fact in the past five years great great, great .... grandparents have been revealing themselves and their wisdom to me like the floods which recently covered much of Iowa.
