Hmmm my superbowl party is gonna be fun this year....most all of my friends have been cajoled into tasting marmite...all hate it....now the cookies will be offered up to them...."oops sorry didn’t I say they were Marmite cookies" Ahhh I can just picture their faces now..he he.
I drove up to my 'American parents' house in Chico yesterday. Quite the adventure was had. I am glad I drive a Dodge Ram, cause with all the rain I needed it. I took the I 5 north as usual then at Williams tried to cut accross to Chico on the farm roads. Oops, all flooded roads closed....or were they?. So I drive down to check it out. Yes after Butte City as far as the eye can see...water and no road. Crap I thinks, gotta detour a long way to get thru now. Just then a good ol boy pulls up in ...

Bloody Hell this weather sucks.....I had to fly a company airplane back to Chicago Thurs, with a stop in Denver on the way. We took off ahead of the storms here. Counted ourselves lucky, till I was on approach in Denver anyway....50 mph winds and a lot of turbulence, tested me and the plane greatly, both made it through, co pilot was rather wide eyed but smiling though.

Ancient History Any time before 1680 can safely be considered the Dark Ages, certainly as far as Marmite is concerned. The raw ingredients existed - Marmite is made from brewer's yeast that's been used to ferment sugars into alcohol - but Marmite was yet to be invented. People simply binned the by-products of brewing before they knew any ... read more

Voted my favorite online correspondent for the year 2005, the Master has a kind heart, a keen sense and a guardian angel's soul, willing to gently probe the confused and wandering psyche with a feather touch.

Paul is quite the gentleman to homeless old ladies with bald spots. He will kindly feed them fermented yeast products. Which reminds me, I really don't believe Brits truly enjoy Marmite. I think they just keep it around to get unsuspecting Yanks to try it, so they can laugh about it behind their backs later. I'm on to you, Paul.
And yes, Paul rocks. He's handsome and tall and funny and brilliant. But you probably already knew that, right? June 16, 2005
Paul's a good shit. I don't have to bust his chops too much.

I'm looking forward to watching this guy swim. I hear he is a real shark in the water! ;) I also hear that he's got a wicked sense of humor, which I have yet to observe since I haven't had too many chances to hang out with him yet. I think I will battle him soon with my own little wit, but undoubtedly I will lose.
I'm so glad I met Paul. He's a very sweet guy, and a real gentleman. [Rare seeing them around these days!] I'm sure I will go to many sci-fi conventions with him, if not just act out my nerdiness with him in a collaborative effort. Maybe we all can go watch The Chronicles of Narnia together???
