I live my life by a code of honor and try to be as chivalrous as possible, in my modern life and the SCA as well. SCA wise I am striving to one day be a Knight of the Kingdom of Ansteorra. The only thing you need to do in order to participate is to be one of the first three to reply to this, AND post this very same thing - 'cause its fun to give people stuff. 
I have very mixed emotions at the moment. Mixed because I am no longer in the profession, but am still a brother in the line. I found out tonight that two of my friends, brothers that I served with, fought beside on the street were shot and killed yesterday in the City of Odessa, one other was critically wounded and had to be care flighted to Lubbock and is still in critical condition. As of late events have been brought forth that bring to the forefront the meaning of Honor and Integrity with everyone that I know. I try to live my life with honor and to me honor means many things. Two of which are the mainstays of my life and how I judge myself.

With the help of all of my wonderful family of friends. I have decided to end my mourning phase and get on with my life. I have not given enough credit to my value and worth. I know that this is a new journey in my life, where it will lead I do not know, but it will be what I make of it. I am tired of living in this state of depression and refuse to submit to the dark side.

After playing this wonderful game we play for over half of my life I finally recieved my Award of Arms. It was well worth the wait to recieve the award from the two people I care more for than words can describe, Sir Aaron and Sir Britta our wonderful King and Queen.
