Thu, March 27, 2008 - 5:51 PMFinally being clean became the most important thing.
The trainwreck came to a screeching halt.
The bitch got humble and stubborn deaf ears could hear.
Baby steps.
You have to crawl before you can walk.

Congratulations! I've been there! I still am there --just a little more time but not much. Enjoy every moment as life starts getting sparkly again. It's amazing how dull tina made life for me.

P.S. - Not sure if your "clean" is the same as mine but no matter what, life is lighter without a monkey on your back.
Love the baby elephant photo! |

Honing the "Straight Edge"
Currently, the claimed average recovery rates
of the typical drug and alcohol treatments centers are about one out of thirty six. But a seventy-five percent recovery rate from drug and alcohol abuse with dietary changes, supplements and 12 Step programs is documented in a book book title, "7 Weeks To Sobriety". It has a twenty plus year history of recovery and there is another book titled, "Food For Recovery", as well. It claims an eighty percent plus recovery rate. In fact, all of the literature that I reviewed used the Anonymous Twelve Step Programs, nutritional support and dietary changes. The ones that did not use the Anonymous Programs and only advocated for "recovery by nutrition" had a dismal failure rate, after I investigated their "claims" to higher rates. |
