about me
I is from England, a peninsular in the far northern of Europe, famous for its fish and fries, the changing of the garden, and trooping the coloureds. Birthplace of William Shakespeare, Mahatma Ghandi and Big Bird. What about them and all their stuff? Pubs are very popular in Britain, with over five pubs per person. "Pub" is an acronym for "Phillip's Uncle's Boat". Before you can get divorced in Britain, you need to get married. Chinese food has become so popular in Britain it has been exported as far as China. We invented the cat. My country was discovered by Sir Henry Britain in sixteen-oh-ten, sold to Germany a year later for a pfennig and the promise of a kiss, destroyed in eighteen-thirty-fourty-two and rebuilt a week later by a man. This we know.

Got my knee seen to yesterday. It appears to have gone pretty well. They even did the correct knee (it was wrong on the paperwork when I arrived!)
I get to sit around watching TV a lot this weekend and Sophie is playing nursemaid to me (but I haven't persuaded her to put on the uniform yet). Lots of icing my knee while keeping it elevated. Crutches to let it heal before I put too much weight on it.
Biggest downside... I'm on vicoden, so no beer until I can wean myself off it. Maybe tomo...

I didn't see one so I thought I should write one.
It has been a privilege to have...aww, forget the corny stuff!
Now, if there was one guy you should be worried about if you saw a twinkle in his eye, this is the guy. Citizen Paul is a largish imp who has a whole host of interests...several of which happen to be beer. He knows a lot about a beer. A lot. Frequently. And that other stuff too one suspects. (I'm still remedially stuck on the beer so you'll have to beer with me here...)
Yep, I, like he, hope that I "continue to pass the test"...whatever the %^&$%#$ test is! What was the question? "The answer!" (Huh?) Oh, yeah! Cheers! *clink!*
Oh, wait...now I remembered the corny stuff. Yeah, Paul is a decent fellow...I know that for a fact--he told me so. But only indirectly. He's got some good friends and I hope to one day set higher goals for myself.
