I usually don't play jokes on people, but April Fools Day is one day that I have to pull atleast one tiny joke.

This year I decided to move Memorial Day... Yep that's right I moved memorial day.
Using the tried and true method of copying the same template the admin secretary uses to post official notices
to the staff, bar-b-q lunches, committee meetings and the like.

I got an email from the general manager letting me know "Folks were about to get in an uproar" over the holiday switch.

I guess they didn't think how Memorial Day, always on the last Monday was switched to a Friday two weeks earlier.

It's the pretext that does it, just state things in a believable way and some folks will bite.
