beneath the science, behind the cynical and analytic building blocks is the other part of eric that few of us get to see but I promise you it is there ... he is kind, caring, and despite his protestations he can be optimistic and even romantic ... he is a good person and they are rare to find - I am honored to have been given the chance to get to know him ... my bright and caring scientist friend :)

Haha! Yeah Bush is a douche bag...to say the least. I don't think there is an word in the human language to describe those kind of people. Thank you for taking the time to read my stuff. It means a lot to me and it makes me smile. One day you should come to San Francisco and hear me DJ.

So much for "evil" days.

This isn't turning out to be much of an apocalypse, is it? It's the sixth day of the sixth month of the sixth year of the new millennium...I mean, shouldn't we have plagues or tempests or, at the very least, "Dogs and cats, living together"...? ...

So I finished my *mahoosive* script project, which was bloody damn difficult. I only started it in late March, but I only had till June first to get it done, copied, copyrighted, and mailed into the film contest. I haven't written something so ...

Oh, and Nostradamus didn't predict the NYC disaster in 1654 ... doesn't matter that that chain letter you probably since got has claimed otherwise. Wanna know how I know? Simple, chums: because in 1654, he was really busy --- being *dead*, as h...

So I finished my *mahoosive* script project, which was bloody damn difficult. I only started it in late March, but I only had till June first to get it done, copied, copyrighted, and mailed into the film contest. I haven't written something so big in ages---and furthermore, not for a competition like this one; it pays some serious green to the winners and of course there are other benefits, such as making contacts, etc.
Now it seems like the world at large is telling me to go further an...

Enough of this ninth-circle-of-Hell crap! I am DONE pounding on myself, thinking I don't deserve to be happy, et damn cetera. Somewhere along the way, maybe when I was still in uni, my personality shifted and I went from being this cocky loudmouthed assertive badass who wrote his own novels and traveled in New Zealand and met famous people in his living room when he was a kid, to this sort of feeble sort who puts other people's teensiest displays of displeasure above a healthy dose of in-yo...

So lately I'm writing this thing for British television (nothing's set in stone yet---it's still spec but I think it's got a real shot), and it is based in part upon when I was in school over there. Wouldn't you know this would turn out to be ten times harder to write than any of my space fantasies or Celtic hero stories? I just find writing anything 'autobiographical' really kind of limiting. I figure I'll have to take a shot, because you never know what might happen, even though I really...

It's been a weird couple of days, weeks...whatever. I'm actually having to turn on my A.C. at home, because of how fricken hot and humid it is here in the midst of a so-called winter. Thought I was actually *dating* her; turns out I'm not (*grrrrrrrrr*). Served on a civil jury (I was the foreperson!). Got a decent-sized toothache going. Still working out chords and scales on my borrowed guitar (upside down at that). Bought a cell phone, so I can finally call my brother at uni, and maybe...
