about me
OK, close your eyes and imagine a flower blossoming from your chest, multicolored, both soft and geometric, shining light upon your face. That's how I want to make you feel.

It is pretty obvious by now that we can do/have whatever we want, right? It is getting easier and quicker all the time, so be careful what you wish for. Hopes and fears turn into real life situations so fast now its hard to pretend otherwise whe...

Letter to a friend
(blog entry)
Here I am, I am finally 28, as I have been anticipating. I had a nice big list of things I wanted to do and be by this time. I have done some, forgotten others. I thought I would be married with a baby on the way by now. My parents are pretty insi...

I am back in Akron after spending 8 wonderful days at Riverland. It is heaven on earth. Wake up, hike into the lush hills to the ledges, climb on top of the moss freckled stones and see the valley layed out below, all safe in the bosom of the Ra...

Oh yeah, I remember now. I remember what this is for, at least somewhat. Learning, loving, seeing, believing, changing, becoming, being, feeling, opening, cleaning, awakening. In Panama on the way to the gathering. In Bocas del Toro I stayed w...

I am here. It is beautiful. I miss Akron. I miss my family. I miss my friends. But I am finding myself again. I was picked up at the airport by some traveller friends, Monkey, Slvia, and 2 new friends Oded and Niran from Isreal. The van was...

It is pretty obvious by now that we can do/have whatever we want, right? It is getting easier and quicker all the time, so be careful what you wish for. Hopes and fears turn into real life situations so fast now its hard to pretend otherwise when it gets freaky. You know, we all had those wow, what a coincidence moments, and then we marvel at it and shrug it off before we have to totally reevaluate the nature of reality. Well now, that belly wave of anxiety or excitement (just slightly diff...

Here I am, I am finally 28, as I have been anticipating. I had a nice big list of things I wanted to do and be by this time. I have done some, forgotten others. I thought I would be married with a baby on the way by now. My parents are pretty insistent that I and my siblings need to be more productive, need to pop out some babies and make lots of money. I feel there are other ways to be productive, and I am still content with making art, experiences, friends, and making my life beautiful. The...

I am back in Akron after spending 8 wonderful days at Riverland. It is heaven on earth. Wake up, hike into the lush hills to the ledges, climb on top of the moss freckled stones and see the valley layed out below, all safe in the bosom of the Rauh family. Every moment is blessed. Swimming in the lake, swinging from the ropes into the water, skipping stones at the river, walking, running, 4-wheeling, skiing, bike riding, watching the sunset together every night. The techno fireflies dancin...

Oh yeah, I remember now. I remember what this is for, at least somewhat. Learning, loving, seeing, believing, changing, becoming, being, feeling, opening, cleaning, awakening. In Panama on the way to the gathering. In Bocas del Toro I stayed with Jenny, BBQs and bike rides, meeting people, drawing portraits, swimming. Offered a lovely place to myself by the water for $100, a job at the local school, a romance if I so choose it... Maybe it will still be there when I return. The ride in ...

I am here. It is beautiful. I miss Akron. I miss my family. I miss my friends. But I am finding myself again. I was picked up at the airport by some traveller friends, Monkey, Slvia, and 2 new friends Oded and Niran from Isreal. The van was awesome, decorated shantistyle with music bumping. It was election day in Costa Rica so San Jose was kickin, it was a strange transition from the snowy atmosphere of home. The first night we drove down next to a beautful river, waterfalls and jung...
