The first thing that touched me about Vash was his voice [and i didn't even hear him sing then!!] but i fell in love the minute i listened to his cd..and am now number one fan!! [well there might be a few million others out there reading this who think that they are number one fan but hey..] ;)~
Vash is a wonderful artist, an amazing soul, one of few generous human beings and a fantastic friend.
Somehow i can't seem to find the right words to describe him...
He's Vash Just Vash.. and you have to know him!
Do it! Do it now!!
And if you're on his side of the world, do something that will make you happy, make you smile, go see/listen to him play, if not to make you happy then do it for me because i can't... i'm on the other side of the world..

I first met Vosh in the summer of 2004 at the String Cheese gathering at Hornings Hideout in preperation for the Faerieworlds Festival happening in July that summer. We were there to scope out the venue and visualize our layout plan for Faerieworlds. As the weekend unfolded, we had the oppurtunity to spend a bit of time together standing in sunberams along the trails and playing a little spontaneous music for the trees and the attendees gathered round.
My next meeting with Vosh was back at Hornings as part of the production team working to prepare the venue for the eventual 2000 folks who would be attending over the coming weekend. My core memory of Vosh, that will not seem to fly away, was his incredible dedication to the vending scenerio that was unfolding from a true state of faery chaos into some sembalence of a working layout. He was overseeing, almost single handedly, the set-up and placement of over 100 different vendors in a space not much larger than a tiny inner city park (tiny is the key word) during a limited time frame surrounded by multiple energies of 100's of poeple all with specific requests and needs.
Anyway, Vosh worked himself to the very edge, and, lovingly, it all worked out in the end. Ultimately, we had the chance to honor each others work and gifts and talents over the weekend in the splendor of a magical gathering that was manifested through the fruits of our collective labor and the vision of a dedicated few--with much help and magic from the faerie realm of course!
I can honestly say that Vosh is a talented and passionate creature that adds spice and depth to a world in need of both. Thank you Vosh for being YOU!
I'll see you at the Fairy Congress, Faerieworlds, and NW Herbal Faire this summer!
Highest Regards,

Where do I start?.... I have known Vash for over 15 years (holy crap, is that right!!!) As a member of the exhalted Uni-Brain, he has influenced my life in so many ways. He was reponsible for my awakening (if you know, you know; if you don't, you will one day.) We have shared many laughs, pints and apartments.
Vash is a man of many talents; musical and others. I am in awe of his dedication to his art and the development of his natural talents. You must listen to his music!
He is a great and true friend who would give you the not only the shirt off his back, but would then offer you a piggy back ride. His trust and loyalty are complete and unwavering.
If you have the opportunity to meet him, buy him a pint of Guinness and try to get to know him a bit. You will be a better person for it.
I am honored to call him my best friend.
Oh yeah, and he's also a gink. ;o)
