I am a former resident DJ/sound guy for Secret Psychedelica (Founder Michael Liu - Illumination Records). I am also know as DJ VAX, I have been active in the Bay Area psytrance scene for 5+years providing sound and DJing.

Hi all,
In this summer when things seem to be in flux the Straylight crew has taken a step in a new direction, with our first party in the SF Bay area. The location is a secret, although it's within a half hour's drive of SF & as usual we've pulled together a fun mix of musicologists to being you a night of beats under a full moon. We're having a fund-raising gathering on Friday June 20th @ Sera Phi (2829 California @ Divisadaro here in San Francisco) to raise monies for a community veggie powered diesel generator.... Why? I had a very good time at MAGE III and Interfuse. It rained for Mage but didn’t stop the energy from taking flight. Awesome! The midwest kids fuckin rock, specially those from Iowa; makes me very proud to have roots in the Midwest. The hardcore heart of those at Mage was bright enough to blind my view of the wicked weather that surrounded us. Mother Nature couldn’t hold siege to Mage. Big thanks for JeffZ and Stephan for putting together a very memorable event.
