"An angel with a devils halo," to steal a line from a tune, though I'd gladly write an entire song about her. Like any awesome celestial thermonuclear reaction in orbit, she brings, warmth, illumination, wonder, and life to all who orbit her.

Vega is smart, sassy, sexy, funny, and a good cook. She's also incredibly generous and caring. Highly recommended.

Energetic, Smart and Thoughtful -- and a real woman. When I think of her, I smile.

about me
I research everything, then annoy everyone with depressing statistics and partial facts of questionable origin. I start lots of projects and finish some, eventually. I like making a mess, prefer to wait for the weather to clean it up.
I'm always present when needed. I try not to inflict too much accidental damage on the world, but I have a strange magnetic field. Attracts mosquitoes, freaks, and large driverless vehicles. Cars are for denting. Gently. I frequently fall down stairs, but I can twirl madly on the dance floor. I'm frequently surprised by my friends' lack of surprise about me. I'm here to dream, create, enjoy, evolve, improve, move, and serve.

I journeyed out into the world the other day to replace the half million recessed can lights in this house that have all started burning out at once.

Wandering up and down the light aisle at Loewe's is quite a different experience now. Trying to figure what bulb goes where is a bit challenging, especially since the stores are still catching up with what's available. So the Environmental Defense Council put up this great site to help with searching for low-wattage bulbs. It's brilliant: www.environmentaldefense.org/page.cfm
Catching up on my periodical reading and came across this small grouping of gas chains, from just ick to super ick.

I've almost completely departed from the web project management era of my life and have been able to dive into video and filmmaking - and am much happier. David has been learning to shoot and teaching himself to edit (doing an amazing job) so we've been hitting the pavement together looking for work and exciting projects. Finally where I wanted to be after leaving the evil empire 3 years ago. Feeling a lot older, wiser, and confident. David's been an amazing support, and just having someone working across from me has been a tremendous inspiration to get everything together. I wouldn't have envisioned it 6 months ago. Not many dull moments around here..

So the film business has been picking up! We've been quite busy lately, and slowly rounding out the equipment without breaking the budget, but also trying to be sensible and avoiding buying new when plenty of good things are lying around in garages... So... Do you have any of the following that you wouldn't mind giving away, loaning out, or are looking to sell? * DVD Player * Sandbags (10-20 lb, well sealed) * Professional quality video tripod with ball head. Manfrotto/Vinten/etc * Gaff tape * Boom pole & shock mount * C-stands * Mackie Speakers - the kind you would expect to see at a conference - not small, but not large * Transcription foot pedal * Monopod * Small Mixer cases ( or something that would work) * Studio lights - 250-1000W * high quality wireless lavs * Wireless headsets - for directing a crew of camera operators * 25ft+ XLR cables in good condition * Monitor calibration tools * Black velvet or other soft, non-reflective black material - 3'X6' at least * Dimmer boxes for up to 1000W * Collapsible cart * Pelican cases * Panasonic DVX100A or B video camera (needing a 2nd one) We're open to bartering/trading/whatever!
Since I have not yet resolved the housemate situation, I have 2 spaces in my home that can be used as -

- temporary office space - massage - meditation??? 1 is a carpeted bedroom with private bath/shower 1 is an empty, mostly enclosed (will need hang a tapestry over the doorway) dining room, with private 1/2 bath, built in desk, and cherry floors The house is clean and very nice. I could help you prep the space. Don't know for how long the situation will go, but I need to pay the bills for the moment and am flexible on price. Talk to me! I've spent YEARS with my outdated <evil> tech industry business cards. They have functioned well as: -disposable GPS systems -seduction media -cerebral focal points... But I'm almost out of these cardboard cuties. I just need a box or two - that will last me another year or two. If you have old business cards hanging around, preferably with white/clean backs, I'd love to give them a second life. If you can help, I might even let you look between my breasts.
