After about fifteen years of toying with the idea, I finally got my first tattoo at age 41 (well, 40 until the 29th). It's fucking awesome!
When I first thought about doing it, I decided I wanted Egyptian hieroglyphics that translated to something like "slut-pig," even though I knew that was doubtful. Well, let's see. After traveling throughout Europe last fall/winter, I'm now staying in Asheville, NC again. And, despite what I said last year about never considering living here again, I've decided I might like to. It's amazing how different this place is now that I'm no longer dating an alcoholic!
<a href=" www.firestormcafe.com">Firestorm</a>, a worker-owned cafe/bookstore just opened in town and I'd love to become one (a worker-owner). Only problem is, I have no dental coverage here and it looks like thousands of dollars of dental work in my near future. So, I'm desperately trying to find a way to afford major dental with no insurance. Maybe a benefit concert or party is in my near future. If you'd like to make a donation, ain't to proud to accept it.
I've written a screenplay for the pilot episode of <a href=" www.san-marcello.net">Tomorrow Waits For No One</a> and I hope to produce that as soon as my life calms down again.
