about me
I have a pet Iguana, Grendel. He's a relatively happy, healthy, well fed, curious animal. But every so often, he wants out of his cage. He pulls and pulls at the bars sticking his nose between them hoping he can fit. I try to let him out and he's happy again. But every so often, he figures out that he's in a bigger cage (the apartment) and he sticks his nose under the door and scratches on the carpet to get out of the apartment. I try to explain, but the concept doesn't sink into his little reptilian brain. I empathize terribly.
