about me
My friends, and my dog and my partner (when i have one) are of utmost importance to me.
I have BA (summa cum laude!) in Environmental Design from UC Berkeley. I graduated in 2007 with a Master's in Counseling Psychology and am currently working in 3 different public school systems providing psychotherapy to kids - mostly teens, but i'm also starting to explore working w/really young children. I LOVE roadtrips, exploration, going off the beaten path, down roads I've never been on before. I am very much into the natural world; have travelled extensively in 15 countries and the Western US. Top on my list to go to next: Antarctica, Iceland, Costa Rica and the Australian Outback. I have lived for more than 17years (since I graduated from college!) in a 96-year-old triangular-shaped Craftsman flat that I restored myself. My biggest passions besides exploring are reading (almost any subject; I have 1000+ books) and photography. I create imaginary landscapes / constructed realities (not on the computer) and photograph them... everybody sees something different in my images (see my photo album). The intersection between art and science, and between art and technology is of great fascination. I collect books, curious objects of all sorts, rocks and insect specimans. I love to dance! Physically - 5'4', size 6/8, long-ish dark-blonde hair, green/blue eyes, easy on the eyes. (No, I'm not "goth"; the photo is of me on Halloween. I just happen to like it).
