about me
I am a fair, reliable, & trust worthy person. My hobbies are photography, learning languages, reading, & traveling. I feel that photography has given me an ability to view situations from many angles. My favorite is documentary photography, which helps me to get in the middle of situations in order to get good shots. It allows me to interact with people and my surroundings in unique way. I have studied French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Sign Language & Finnish. Doing so brings me closer to other people around the world. I feel confident moving amongst different cultures and countries. I always feel that there is a possibility to communicate with another individual. My previous job of 7 years was as a department manager in a bookstore. It was a fast paced high volume retail environment with a multicultural workforce and clientale. I was a hard worker, very dependable, a good team leader and I thrived under pressure. After moving to Finland with my Finnish spouse and studying at Helsingin sosiaali- ja terveysalan oppilaitos, I decide to pursue a career as a nurse. I enjoy working with my hands and doing work that is more physically active. My goal is to work in a home for people with developmental disabilities. I, also, hope to work a few years as a ward or instrument nurse in a humanitarian aid organization providing assitance to victims of war, conflicts & natural disasters. I am in my second year in the degree program in nursing at Helsinki Polytechnic. So far, it has been great.

Anne Rice,
Ever since we got this new car, we've been driving way much more than usual. It is so awesome to drive in the city and on the highway. Last weekend we drove to Jyväskylä to watch the women's Superpesis match and it was such a difference compared to the other times I have been driving that road. I was always scared crapless because it always seemed like such a harrowing journey but it was sweet in this car. Anyway, it is a Honda Jazz. It is called a Fit in the states. They couldn't market the ...

In my grief over finding out about Eugen Weber, I found out that there is an Annenberg channel where I can watch programming in progress and other videos on demand. I have been mainlining the Western Tradition all day long. Relief. I am ecstatic.

I finally finished Zelda: The Wind Waker. My friend let me borrow it and the game cube, I played it on. I will have to give it back soon, so, I had to get on with it and finish. He was so right about me liking this game. After I started playing this, I started looking for Zelda games that I could play on my DS Lite. I had left the country for the summer, so I wasn't able to play Wind Waker until
