They've finally started framing up the main house. The garage is finally torn down, and this week they are framing out the new addition. This pic is of the back of the house, prior to the new addition, and you can see the dining room and kitchen on the lower floor. It's starting to look like a house again! Yaaaaaay!!!!!!!

Does fall give you that urgent feeling that you should finish up some of the things that you've started? I have a house to sell, another to remodel, and a relationship that needs some soul-searching. It's time to finish up, take stock, get comfortable, and dig in for the winter.

Ok, I live in Texas, and Rita is bearing down on us as if she has taken personally all of the horror and embarrassment of the administration in this country. See, we pissed off mother nature, and here she comes to bring a little taste of it right back home again. The weather gurus should have broken with their custom and named her "W" in honor of the Head Fool around here. It sucks to be from Texas sometimes.
