of the phrase Don't Drink and Drive!!!!

A family friend, someone my brother and sister graduated
with was killed two days ago by a drunk driver. He swerved
over the center divide and hit him head-on. He leaves behind
a wife of 11 years and three children. It's tragic....

It's simple...If you drink, don't drive until you're sober.

JoinTheImpact.com would like us to coordinate with them
on a national level by marching THIS SATURDAY November 15,
2008 starting at 10:30am. We will be gathering before 10:30am
and marching to a rally where we will continue to show support
for marriage equality.

UPDATE: We now have a confirmed rally location.
Our first choice didn't work, so we will rally at the
County Administration Building, located at 1600
Pacific Highway. The closest cross-street is Cedar.
This is a POSITIVE location - not a target - as this is
where the same sex marriage certificates were issued
and where many of those marriages took place.
We are working on entertainment before the 1:00 PM
start time, so if you get there early (e.g. by way of the march),
there should be plenty to keep you busy.

THIS IS A PEACEFUL PROTEST. NO VIOLENCE WILL BE TOLERATED.
The San Diego police will be informed of our intent to protest,
and the protest will follow legal guidelines. We will not be taken
seriously if we resort to violence. Please help keep our protest peaceful.
