From the rumbling basslines of dubstep and grime, to floor-shaking drum & bass, breaks, glitch, and organic global electronica, v:shal kanwar has rocked crowds all around the world with his eclectic blend of western beats and indigenous flavors from all around the world, from the bustle of bombay, to the hustle of NYC! Expect to discover bhangra, cumbia, dubstep, afro-brazilian beats and countless other styles of dance music in a whole new way.

v:k is part of an international collective of artists and musicians whose work seeks to find parallels between indigenous rhythms from around the world, and electronic dance music. He holds residencies at numerous DC- and NYC-based world music events.

:: dj sequoia
Originally from Northern California, DJ Sequoia brings a plethora of booty-shaking beats to the dance floor ranging from floor-stomping House and Electro to hypnotic Dubstep. He holds monthly residencies in DC, is the stage manager for Playa Del Fuego, and recently became a member of the nation-wide dj and producer collective, The Midnight Sons ( www.themidnightsons.com).

In California, he was a founding member of Humboldt, CA’s longest running dj collective, the Deep Groove Society, where he promoted and performed at epic Full Moon parties on beaches and mountain tops.

:: mr darko
Hailing from Belgrade (Serbia), Mr Darko's sets include influences as diverse as trip hop, latin, afrobeat, acid / tech / soulful house, roots reggae, and funk, with a solid helping of darker industrial flavors.

:: Mavi
Mavi is a former member of Martiya Possession–one of the first Gothic belly dance troupes in the United States and traveled and performed extensively with the renowned Washington DC-area tribal fusion dance company Römká, until May 2009, when she and Belladonna split to focus on their respective solo careers. She co-hosts the country’s longest running tribal fusion monthly performance event – DCTribal Cafe and the annual Belly Horror Show.
