I like things that on the outside appear dark, mysterious, mystical, and even a bit spooky, but inside hold the torch of light and deep awareness. I like to go against the grain of society and the conventional, and to really think about and question everything. I don't like things that are mundane, dull, lifeless, boring, or lacking in unique character.

I greatly enjoy spiritual activities, such as mystical or magickal rituals, spiritual celebrations, worship of the divine in many forms, meditation, etc. I am a spiritual seeker. This is a big part of who I am. I love deeply studying astrology and tarot, and many other forms of divination.

I also like to go out clubbing at times. I like to have fun and enjoy myself. I love dancing hard to good music. I like celebrating the diversity and joys of life. I enjoy socializing and meeting new people.

Sometimes I am very playful and silly. Sometimes I am very serious. I tend not to get a lot of peoples jokes. My sense of humor is very strange, and most people don't get it when I am making a joke. Sometimes though I can be funny in a way people get, then I can be very funny.

I like to spend my time pondering deeply about things. I have an interest in spiritual things. I tend to take part in progressive politics when things matter and try to stand up for causes that will help make the world a better place, and also oppose and protest against things that will hurt our world and human society as a whole. I think according to the global good, not the national one. I strongly believe in the need for increased use of renewable energy.

I follow a vegetarian diet of no meat, no fish, no eggs. This is in no way a political thing, it is just a personal lifestyle choice based on what is best for me.

As a lifestyle choice I don't own or drive a car. I prefer to take trains, buses, or walk. Living in Chicago I am in a place with a very good public transportation system. I actively support public transportation.
