Dragonfly Wrapup

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/waater/blog/35be9644-c507-4998-ace9-05e10b1977bc"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/c89/c93/c89c93ed-6e26-41f8-8a04-32deffd01c47.thumb" width="58" height="78" alt="" />
    </a>
<div>Thank you to everyone for coming out, it was truly a remarkable weekend.
Through all the trials and tribulations, downs and ups, we had a
wonderful time and space, I feel. Blissful in the morning and music til
the late day with gracious space and wonderful people. However, with all
in fact of an amazing time, we managed to take a bit of about $905 and
would very much like to ask for offerings and contributions from,
throughout the community. We only hope this will raise so we can continue
forth with a coming 'Odonata Festival', in the future!

For Dragonfly, we are still in search for paying out some folk that need
for there support within the Dragonfly. All parties are planned for
certain to pay-back. These include, artists, sound and emissions. They
need to be taken care of, still. We have a paypal account which is ready
and open for all contributions possible.

PayPal to ::: konichwa@gmail.com
Thank you!

From these numbers, it shows me more ideas with guestlisting that this,
being our community, truly needs to support until everything is financed
properly and we can have more of our outer friends appear. Otherwise we
are taking money out of our own pockets in order to host these amazing
events/gatherings/open-air festivals. I hope still to create the
coming 'Odonata Festival' for this 2009, next year. A 5 Stage,
open-air extravaganza filled with live and electronic music, acrobatics,
artists, you and multi-dimensional portal stimulation to further opening
the minds eye(s).

I would like to also apologize for certain amenities not being covered,
Kitchen / Port a potties and what not. We did erect a latrine / shit pit
(thank you Zen!), however the signage was never set. We had called the
port-a-police, never came due to some communication that was not
connected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We
could blame everything on Mercury, however the truth is more the learning
on how to make things more tight for a future of an event. We had many new
people with our crew and teaching to go out on how to make events happen,
thought we made everything that
we could possible with all in mind.

Truly everyone, Thank you so much for everything that you are and help us
create. 'Welcome home'. Adrian / DJ Eckoe, we are proud to have you on
board in helping host your frequencies..., Seattle needs this more than
ever. Kyle thank you for all the amazing sound you put into this, as well
Psyren..you came through even with all the bits in on your time and
delivered proper sound as well. The rest of
Molecular..you guys rock and I know it to be a future for us all. Thank
you to the Epic Loot Guild for coming and hosting some exquisite findings
for us all to keep warm and feel wonderful. Last but not least, thank you
to D &amp; BJ for use of there land, it was unforgettable. And thank you to
the universe for the love and support to carry us through and make magic a
reality.

We are the art and the creation, without us, none of this is possible.
It is not about just partying and dancing and enjoying music, we have
always felt it to be more. We believe that if no one steps into the
time continuum, no change or progression is made. It is because of you
that we are here and are here to create, share, explore, learn and be in
our own reflection and new ideas.

Love

										<div>

Speed Racer --
Yes.

Iron Man --
Yay for Robert Downey Jr., he has deserved a good film for a very long time (i think it looks good)

Wall.E -- Pixar production

The Incredible Hulk --
Edward Norton as bruce banning, with many other wonderful other supporting actors
However I am sad they did not continue where the last film left off at, instead recreating as it seems. though, perhaps if it is good enough, I can perhaps get over it. :\ Still a bit meloncholy though. Maybe they will make some sense of relation towards being in the jungles via first film.

CJ7 -- I love Stephen Chow

Diary of the Dead -- Anyone? new romero film.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (!)

Son of Rambow -- indy film about a young kid making a movie with his closest of friend(s).
His brain runs away with Rambo - First Blood .. looks good!

Star Trek -- well, possible.

Anyone else have any reels they are looking forwards to? Perhaps more for indy/experimental?
Please do! Post post :)

    </a>
<div>Movie Review by Lauren Archer, CH

"Water" is an important new documentary film being released in select theaters on Friday, March 21. I was invited to a press screening Monday evening - I wanted to share my review with you:

Water is a primordial substance -- one of the most basic elements of life, a tranformative force of nature, and a symbol of living energy. What do we know about its structure, its composition, its influence? Is water the same in different parts of the world? Is it the same from your bathroom sink to your backyard? What factors influence its essence and vibration? Is water alive? Does it have a memory? Can it have healing properties? If so, how?

These questions and more are explored in this uplifting, hopeful, thought-provoking, and informative documentary, distrubuted by one of the filmmakers of "What the Bleep," Betsy Chasse, in cooperation with Melissa Henderson and Intention Media.

The film synthesizes recent research from chemists, biologists, laboratory researchers, water restoration specialists, biophysicists, and specialists in complementary and alternative medicine from all around the world. While not ignoring issues of pollution and contamination, "Water" offers amazing insight, fresh hope, and paradigm-shifting perspectives on how each of us can positively influence the quality of Earth's most precious resource, and experience a more healing relationship with water.

This film will encourage you to consider how important your consciousness and your intention are toward influencing the world around you. Our bodies' are over 70% water. How can you change your health by changing your thoughts in relationship to water? I was inspired -- I think you will be too.

--
Two Humans, "Uncle Vova" and "Skripach"(Fiddler) accidentally find themselves on another planet after pushing the wrong button on the strange device in the hand of an odd hobo, claiming to be an alien. Planet "Plyuk" in the galaxy "Kin-Dza-Dza" looks like a desert. All "aliens" look human, and can understand Russian, after reading uncle Vova's mind. Their own language is mostly telepathic and is limited to 11 words - 10 plus "KU" - all other words. The whole paradox of Plyuk is that their civilization is much more advanced than ours in time and space traveling, weaponry and so on, but totally barbarian in the social way. There is a special (and only) way to identify two groups of creatures by pointing a little device on the person, orange light - "Chitlanin" (superior), green - "Patsak" (lower class). The most valued things on the planet are matches witch are equivalent to 2200 "Chatles". Uncle Vova and Skripach, have a long and dangerous journey in store in order to get home..

Kin-Dza-Dza is something like an "advanced cyberpunk film". It's a lot about people and social structures which on "Plyuk" of course have many parallels to our society. It's a very funny movie, but it's also a melancholic movie with great philosophical sense. In Russian, with English subs.

<div>-- This lovely piece of literature comes from the madame of gypsies, Ms. Seven, please forward as you like.
-----

Someone posted this in the Capricorn tribe today and i wanted to share it with all my Capricorn friends. I hope it helps you as much as it helped me!

THE CAPRICORN SOUL LESSON:
The Soul chooses a Capricorn Sun Sign to learn about dropping the mask self and remembering the true Self. Self-validation and conquering fear are vital for this personality to truly master life and living.
Here follows what Capricorn seeks to learn and what we can learn from Capricorn.

Empowered Expression:
CAPRICORN - An empowered expression comes from knowing that you are successful, not because of what you have achieved in material gains or through the approval of others, but because of who you have become. Your self respect has been achieved through mastering the inner world rather than trying to obsessively control your outer world. Your wisdom has come through experience and maturity combined with hard-earned skills. Capricorn as a global symbol expresses the concept of mastery of the physical limitations of the earth realm. A dry sense of humour keeps you from excessive seriousness. Your capacity to reason and questioning allows you to become your own authority, captain of your own ship and author of your life script. Your conscience is your guide and reinforced with a healthy sense of responsibility. You have depth of character and do well as a guide to others. Realising that to be realistic you can be optimistic and not pessimistic has allowed you to discover inner peace. Your mind is very good at strategy and your experience gives you good foresight. Knowing that you can cope with anything frees you from the fear of being out of control and empowers you.

Fear Based Expression:
CAPRICORN - Fear that you will fail or be humiliated cripples you. This also leaves you at the mercy of the social hierarchical judgements of worth and value which never fill the deepest holes inside and never remove the fear of it all falling apart. Your acquiring academic knowledge to seem worthy of respect without learning from direct experience of life will never feel real enough to give you the self worth you ache for. Your fear of trusting your own truth causes you to buy into the tried and tested academic/scientific and elitist ideas of reality, community and value. Not ever knowing the truth, but logically deducing it based on the accepted norms results in you handing over your power and authority. Life is serious and the words, "lighten up" feel like salt in a deep wound of longing for the magic that died when you were young. Your skeptical nature hides the ironic fact that you have gullibly accepted every other version of reality, love and life except the one that lies buried in your heart under fear of being the great being that you are. You are driven by a fear of punishment and a desire for reward and because everyone else's opinion matters more than yours does you reject all things original, weird, creative and beautiful. Your healing would come from freeing the weird, creative and beautiful part of you that aches to be visible. Believing in scarcity makes you miserly as you are unaware of the universal law that giving the only way to receive.

HELPFUL CAPRICORN AFFIRMATIONS:
(Remind yourself with these words as often as possible. Feel the words in your body.
• "I am already there"
• "I am master of my ship"
• "Sharing my wisdom brings light to me"
• "The world does not need to be mastered, I need only to be master of me"
• "My heart knows the truth"

Greatest fear comes from: "Believing that it is possible to fail"
Greatest power comes from: "Success comes from learning, if I learn I never fail"</div>

<div>Yeah, wow...it was great and so wonderful to have everyone out. Seeing happy smiling faces dancing and trancing.

Yes, after all said and done., we had finally came up on an event and made a donation of $262.10 towards Live n Love and Molecular, after all said and done (please read towards bottom for full breakdwon). We hope only in the future to bring better and stronger events to, within seattle.

Thank you to everyone involved and making this project possible, this all truly could not have been done without you. Kitchen you guys worked so hard and striving.., you will forever be deep in the bottom of my heart. Kyle, amazing to work with you, your crew was for real and very on it. Wry and all the ambient djs, thank you for making it out. To manahan, thank you for the amazing sound, truly needed for the trance, super clear and unforgiving. To the transcendent, thank you for the wonderful space. To the sanctuary, it was truly wonderful and we were very happy to have you to help fascilitate. To all of the volunteers involved, for coming to our rescue...WOW! We love you guys, thank you for coming through., please don't hesitate to contact within further events. And for all the dancers and trancers..great to see some energy out there., a true promise that trance can still be a reality. Last but not least, Aaron Hoyle..thank you for playing a most amazing set and helping making this event possible, it truly could not have happened without you, an amazing set for sure! You totally rocked it and can't wait to here you again. boom!

My primary concern within the about the weekend was having the noise bleed with the ambient chamber, we had originally intended on another room, but later there-on within the week, we were notified that it was not going to be of use, thus being offered this room, it worked out for what was needed for the party. Some other situations here and there, but nothing we could not have handled.

An FYI about the loud speakers of the party, of younger aged girls. I spoke with them and allowed them entry again if they came back and felt in a more positive manner. I have seen many other people far of older do and act from a further alignment.

Sorry I could not have played, as I felt to later give my time more in for the party to a dance in the morning. Love~

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!

see you in the next...

Also, I hope the people attended did get a chance to sign there caucus this last weekend, sadly I was taken til about 2pm cleaning the party up by the time of arriving home. In thus, missed my opportunity.., though I hope it still sparked in other eyes. Love~

<div>Hello everyone! Looking forwards to a fabulous weekend soon to become.

Ok, here are some new infos for us all to share!
Many new artists and still a few more suprises, soon to be found~

As of Recent, we are in the process of finding a new ceremonial host and have soon yet to be told what this may be. She has been helping us locate and find something new and more suitable, but we have been still yet to determine.

We want to wish her the best of luck within her new endeavors! It is what we strive for in our gatherings to create art and specialty within our world of community. We felt whole heartedly about this decision and wish her the best of luck.

Now as of current, we are in search of a new coordinator and are looking for the right direction and are looking into several possibilities.

										<div>India~

So beautiful, chaotic and romantic in it's way. A place of wonder and excitement. This album will spark the imagination and power of which India holdsthe keys to.

I wished to share it with all who has an ear to lend.
A wonderous tale of amazement and delight.

<div>Well look what I just found...

OH MY GOD..., WOW!

YES! Its true, he is still out there..and YES! It looks like he will be releasing an album soon too!
I nearly dropped to the floor when I saw this.

OOZE :: http://www.myspace.com/oozemusic/

*crossing fingers for something sooner rather than later*
-- in contact now~

If anyone may not remember; Ooze is probably one of the foremost downtempo electronica albums I had ever layed my fingers on, so wonderful and beautiful that makes it a CLASSIC.

Ooze -Where the Fields Never End (2001, Spirit Zone Records)
http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display_release.asp?id=1744

Every track, every movement, every whisp and every groove, so perfect in synchopation, so delightful for any mind, and such a wonderful journey..

I place Ooze right up there next to Patchwork in my book. In highest regards of a most amazing producer.
Dreams DO come true!

So very happy.
