I am a MikMaq woman interested in meeting and chatting with people who are respectful of the traditional native lifeways.Here to grow and learn and meet all sorts of interesting people. You never know what might peak my interest. Most recently I found bioregional animism and am learning so much! My husband and I are from the Wabanaki Confederacy with our tribal roots in Canada. We are parents to 5 wondwerful kids, 2 grand bebe's and one on the way. I am an addictions counselor and also work with local youth in a program called "The Night Owl", which provides a teen drop in center and hot meals, as well as a place to stay for homeless youth ages 16-21. They are one of my great passions...my Night Owl kids. Although we are a new segment of a larger program, we are growing immensely every day, as we take it to the streets and talk to our homeless and at risk youth.
