"The Great Work" by Hafiz

Love
Is the great work
Though every heart is first an
Apprentice

That slaves beneath the city of Light.

This wonderous trade,
This magnificent throne your soul
Is destined for--

You should not have to think
Much about it,

Is it not clear
An apprentice needs a teacher
Who himself

Has charmed the universe
To reveal its wonders inside his cup.

Happiness is the great work,
Though every heart must first become
A student

To one
Who really knows
About Love.

Reflections

November 1, 2006
By imagining what life can be, we make it real. And how do we imagine? How to we learn to see the power and grace in a new way of being?

Why, we seek out the very best in the most wonderful people we know, plant the love in our hearts, and feel it grow.

Warren is a garden of loving life. He embodies humility, he breathes patience, and he shines with joy. The moment I met him, the life I love became more real. And as I grew with him, his courage claimed the warrior for peace.

I spent the past week in Warren's presence and it was absolutely uplifting. The day I picked Warren up I was drawn to him and he was still across the street from me. When he gazes into your eyes it's like Mamma Gaia is reaching into your soul and saying, "hey, take your shoes off and feel me under your feet, listen to what I have to say."

Warren you are truley a beautiful BE-ING. Be safe on your journeys ahead of you. Many Blessings and Much Love

Peace, Love & Light
