Aside from being a terrific artist with an even more terrific sense of humor, Ike is also a very open-minded, caring individial who has offered some very understanding advise on a tough topic. You're awesome...and a great writer to boot! LOVE the book!!! And a extra special thank you for the absolutely befitting cartoon I now proudly display on my profile! ~hugs~

Isaac, my beloved... he is wonderfully open and kind hearted, he is beautiful (inside & out), and he’s so full of the want for life and all the possibilities in it. I admire him, his convictions and his efforts to live as truly as he can despite all the obstacles that are tied to his past. He loves his children, even though he doesn't get to see them often... He's the sweetest guy I've ever known, he's really good at wanting to see the good in everyone he meets and even more so when it comes to helping others when he can.

He's had more than his share of life experience and yet goes about certain things still with the kind of innocence and genuine hope. If you could see him the way I see him, it wouldn't be hard to understand why I love him completely, he’ll forever hold a place in my heart and I don't regret one day spent together.

Hugs,
Tiffany

I haven't been working on my illustrations or comic strips in a while mostly because I haven't had a scanner -- no place to put one for a while. In the interim among other things I've been working on my book, Ike's Wager.

A little over a month ago a company in Boston flew me out for a job interview and as luck would have it, as I walked by the airport news stand a book caught my eye and I stopped to investigate. There on the shelf lay Predictably Irratinal by MIT professor of behavioral e... read more

about me
My spirit name is try, a reminder of the experimental nature of life. My given name, Isaac, means laughter, and given my druthers I'd like to be remembered that way.

In the latter part of '97 I enlisted in the US Navy (yeah, go figure) and in spite of that it turned out to be one of the most important decisions I've ever made. I was looking for a way to support my then wife and oldest daughter, bottomed out, threatened suicide and they sent me home. Reaching that point in my life turned out to be one of the most crucial moments in my life, leading ultimately to my examining what I believed for myself for the first time and an epiphanic discovery which cured me of a number of phyiscal illnesses (anxiety attacks, heart palpatations - I'd gotten into the Navy by not mentioning them).

In late '98 I became a computer programmer and in 2001 my relationship with my wife ended badly. Between 2001 and 2006 I mostly ruined my life by shoehorning myself into the programming career in an attempt to carry everyone else's bags (belonging to my ex and the state). In mid 2006 I had so ruined my life that I had another "bottoming out" experience and contemplated suicide a second time and as with the first I again suddenly found a new way of being and spontaneous relief from many more physical ailments.

It was at this point that I made what may be the most important decision in my life: no compromise. I choose to live my own life and to that end I've begun illustrating and writing again, I'm pursuing syndication as a comic strip illustrator, I'm pursuing an apprenticeship as a tattoo artist and I'm pursuing stand-up comedy... among other things. :)

Since 2001 I've been living with a cool, bi-poly, tattooed BBW chick (Tiffany). It's nice to be with someone who clicks with me with regard to those issues specifically. Although I'm now 33 and can still count the number of people I've had sex with on my hands, it's good to be with someone who understands my natural inclinations to poly and to bisexuality, pansexuality or perhaps more accurately sapiosexuality.
