Well, ok... He really wasn't 'my' dog. He was actually my landlord's, but I helped take care of him for 7 of his 11 years on this earth. I truly thought of him as part of my family.
I got the news from my old roommate today. I'm actually surprised at how much I am mourning. When I moved to NYC last year, I developed the 'someday' syndrome. Someday I'm going to make the time to visit. Someday I'm going to stop on by the next time I'm in NJ.
