Now the thing that really blows your mind...
Is that since this star was 240 Million light years away, we're only just now seeing something that happened before humans even existed.

hey guys, get your head around this. (Gliese) 581c, the newly discovered Goldilocks planet is a mere 20 some light years away from Earth. That translates to about 120 trillion miles. Can you even imagine how many miles light traveling at 180,000 miles per second for 240 million years has traveled? I can't understand numbers like that...my brain freezes.
