She's our adventure PE teacher at Evergreen Community Charter School and one amazing woman! Jo brings this freshness to movement, inspiring the kids, offering them stimulating challenges, and all without ever shaming or alienating them .. ahh, that more PE coaches could be so eloquent and powerful.
Her husband, Kevin Smith, is a fourth grade teacher at Evergreen and is one of the most innovative individuals I've ever met, he teaches from a place of enthusiasm that motivates the kids to want to learn.
Ena was in his class two years ago and she had so much fun! I think Kevin can be credited for getting her started on the journey of true education.
