My Testimonials

July 15, 2009
He is someone that has alaways been an inspiration to me. His quiet and unassuming nature is something that I almost envy. Most of all, he walks between in a way that is a credit to his Ancestry. This time around, they chose to colour him differently.
Wise Man he is!

From Bishop Timothy Price:

Thank You For Being A Friend
( Andrew Gold )

Thank you for being a friend
Traveled down a road and back again
Your heart is true, you're a pal and a confidant

I'm not ashamed to say
I hope it always will stay this way
My hat is off, won't you stand up and take a bow

And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend

If it's a car you lack
I'd surely buy you a Cadillac
Whatever you need any time of the day or night

I'm not ashamed to say
I hope it always will stay this way
My hat is off, won't you stand up and take a bow

And when we both get older
With walking canes and hair of gray
Have no fear even though it's hard to hear
I will stand real close and say
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend

And when we die
And float away
Into the night
The milky way
You'll hear me call
As we ascend
I'll say your name
Then once again

Thank you for being a friend

White Wolf's Prayer
Creator, I thank you for my life and journey. I pray my heart will be open for your teachings and guidance. I pray that I will be open to do your will and be of service to the people with an open heart. I pray my heart open for your guidance and wisdom, my heart to your heart, one heart, one spirit.
Sky Father, I give thanks to you. I thank you for the air I breathe. I thank you for the healing waters of rain and snow. I thank you for Grandfather Sun and Grandmother Moon and the Star people. I pray we will realize what we are doing to the skies and will work to bring healing to you and in turn ourselves. I pray my heart open for your guidance and wisdom, my heart to your heart, one heart, one spirit.
Earth Mother, I give thanks to you. I thank you for the healing herbs and the herbs to flavor the bounty which you provide. I give thanks for the trees that filter our air. The grasses, the flowers, the fruit, the vegatables and all that grows. I give thanks for all the beings that give of their life so that we may live. I pray that we will come to realize the damage that we are doing to you and work to bring healing to your and ourselves. I pray my heart open for your guidance and wisdom, my heart to your heart, one heart, one spirit.
Spirit of the East, I give thanks to you. I thank you for your spiritual guidance. Help me to walk in beauty, to be a spiritual person, and to help others along their path. I open my heart to you and to the other spirits. Let my heart be open so as to hear the spirits and heed their guidance. Help me to be in strong in spirit to help others. I pray my heart open for your guidance and wisdom, my heart, to your heart, one heart, one spirit.
Spirit of the South, I give thanks to you. I thank you for the emotions that help me to live life. Help me to temper my anger with wisdom. Help me to find joy in the simplest of things. Help me to open my heart to others and to share the joy and love of life with all who come near. I pray my heart open for your guidance and wisdom, my heart, to your heart, one heart, one spirit.
Spirit of the West, I give thanks to you. I thank you for the strength you give me. Help me to be strong for the people. Help me to be strong in all I do. Help me to be strong of spirit, of wisdom, of body, of soul. Help me have the strength of the thunder beings and the mighty buffalo so that I may be strong for the people. I pray my heart open for your guidance and wisdom, my heart to your heart, one heart, one spirit.
Spirit of the North, I give thanks to you. I thank you for the wisdom you bring. Help me to be wise for the people so that I may help others along their path. Guide me in all I do so that I may do things in a good way with wisdom and knowledge. Help me to be the teacher and to return the gifts of knowledge and wisdom shared with me. I pray my heart open for your guidance and your wisdom, my heart to your heart, one heart, one spirit.
And so we return to the east and the circle is complete. I will remember always that life is a circle and will honor this.
To all the spirits who have come before, I give thanks. I thank you for the times you have carried me, for the times you have held me up, for the times you have showed the way. I give thanks for the wisdom that you have shared with me. I give thanks when you have only pointed the way. I pray my heart will always be open to hear your words, to feel your spirit. I pray my heart open for your guidance and wisdom, my heart to your heart, one heart, one spirit.
To all the spirits who have yet to come. Who may come into my life for a moment, a minute, a day, a month, a year, or a lifetime, I give thanks to you. I thank you for helping me on my path, for teaching me, for helping me to grow so that I may serve the people well. I pray that my heart will always be open to your guidance and wisdom. I pray my heart open for your guidance and wisdom, my heart to your heart, one heart, one spirit.
To the Sacred White Buffalo Calf, I give thanks. I pray you strength and safety on your journey. I pray as a symbol of peace and harmony that you will touch many hearts. I pray that those hearts will bloom and spread love to other hearts until we have created a new world, the fifth world of peace and harmony. I pray my heart open to you, my heart, to your heart, one heart, one spirit.
Sacred Turtle, you whose spirit called me to the desert. I give thanks. I thank you for the honor to have gone to the desert to perform ceremony. I am humbled for I am not worthy of this honor. I give thanks for your welcoming me into your heart. I pray you safety and strength on your journey. I pray that you will touch many hearts and those hearts will open and blossom and spread love across the land. You are the symbol of unity. You are the symbol of peace. Let your spirit touch many hearts. I pray my heart open for your guidance and wisdom, my heart to your heart, one heart, one spirit. Aho.

And I say the sacred hoop of my people was one of the many hoops that made one circle, wide as daylight and as starlight, and in the center grew one mighty flowering tree to shelter all the children of one mother and one father.
Black Elk

When you know who you are;
when your mission is clear and you
burn with the inner fire of unbreakable will;
no cold can touch your heart;
no deluge can dampen your purpose.
You know that you are alive.

Formerly attributed to Chief Seattle
A member of the Suquamish tribe has informed a few of us that he never spoke these words and they are upset. I respectfully have changed the above attribution. I put formerly attributed so that those who know this quote won't keep telling me that it is Chief Seattle. It remains as it speaks of my journey.

Two Wolves

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, ' My son, the battle is between two ' wolves ' inside us all.
One is Evil. - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith. '
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: ' Which wolf wins? '
The old Cherokee simply replied, ' The one you feed. '

Remember always,
Everything you say,
Everything you do,
Little eyes are watching you.

(Reba McIntyre remembering a poster that hung in her gym when she was playing basketball. It helped her in later life to remember always that the children are watching us and the things that we say and do maybe inspire or affect a child. If we are to grow as elders, we must take these words to heart and always live our life as an example to those who will follow. Thank you Reba for sharing this with us.)

~ But if the vision was true and mighty, it is true and mighty yet. ~
BLACK ELK - LAKOTA

"There are hundreds of paths up the mountain,
all leading in the same direction,
so it doesn’t matter which path you take.
The only one wasting time is the one
who runs around and around the mountain,
telling everyone else that their path is wrong.”

Just what is the Red Road? Well, in some traditions it is referred to as the Good Red Road, in others, the White Path. For this writing, we will refer to it as the Red Road. I don't claim to be an expert, but from what I have been taught, the Red Road is the spiritual path. As some say, it is the way of right relations. A person who walks the good red road is a deeply spiritual person. They are a person who treats all of life with respect. Their life is a prayer. They take the time to give th... read more

A news report today regarding a Devens, MA company who located here after being enticed with Tax Payer money. It appears the company Evergreen which was touted at the time as bringing "green" jobs to Massachusetts has decided to follow the lead of so many other companies. They have decided to lay off workers and move manufacturing to China. More American jobs going overseas. More Americans on the bread line. The salt in the wound being that our taxes were used to bring this company to the sta... read more

Believe it or not, that was the question, the question on a Facebook survey. This is a very important subject that is finally gaining national attention. Unfortunately, too many people are leaving it for others to figure out. Let's take a look at the question for a moment.

Is it a privilege? A privilege to have good health? Believe it or not, the survey was close. There are many who do believe it is a privilege. In some ways, they have a point. We have given away so much of our power to ot... read more

Well, it has been an interesting week. One that has opened my eyes that there is still a lot of work to be done. In my previous post, I said goodbye to my spirit name. Not that it has left me, but that I wasn't going to use it online. The jury is still out on that. You see, spirit names are usually meant to be kept to oneself. Did I break a rule? Well, that depends. Let me explain for a moment and you decide for yourself.

Now I have a good friend online that I knew by her spirit name her... read more

The recent event in Sedona with the deaths from the sweat lodge has set off the usual talk of plastic shaman, new agers, and theft of spiritual ways. To be succinct, one of the things that is brought up is white people with "Native American" names like Black Eagle, Gentle Deer, or yeah, even White Wolf. Now this name came to me in a dream or vision. It was during a time of prayer. I had belonged to a Native American group online and the things I learned on my way, i returned to the... read more
