Reverend Robin Tekwelus Youngblood, The Dreaming Shaman- Path of the White Wolf.
By: Cathy Smith-Wenska M.S., LCPC, NCC
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, McHenry, Illinois
I first met Reverend Robin Youngblood in early spring of 2006 as I searched the internet for a Shaman while living in Hawaii. Coming across her website, The Dreaming Shaman was one of the greatest blessings I have ever received. At the time of my search, I was going through a major spiritual and emotional growth spurt while addressing some serious professional and personal challenges. Due to the nature of the issues, I was in dire need of spiritual guidance. Guidance that I knew could not be fulfilled from within the professional community of social services.
I cannot tell you how happy I am that I followed my inner desires. Robin's warm loving nature has been a source of inspiration and encouragement from the very beginning of our interactions together. Since our initial contact, I participated in the WorldWeavers Workshop, which included the cleansing and healing ceremonies from the SweatLodge, the Medicine Wheel Dance and Shamanic Journeys. After the workshop, I attended another SweatLodge, and experienced the process of Soul Retrieval. Each and every time I participated in these healing methods, I was left feeling utter joy and inner peace. An experience, I never thought imaginable. I truly feel that I have found my "Self" during these sacred ceremonies. As a result, many of my fears have been transformed into an incredible amount of love- a deep love that I have been able to honestly and openly express to family members and friends since entering into this work. Many torn relationships have been mended. The passion of my personal life mission and knowing that I have the capability of achieving my goals intensified tremendously.
With my renewed sense of living and deeper commitment to serving our Creator: God, I decided to extend my spiritual growth by participating in Rev. Youngblood's apprenticeship program, The Path of the White Wolf. As her student, I look forward to each and every interaction we have, whether it is via phone call, email or face-to-face contact. Rev. Youngblood's methods of teaching are with genuine kindness as she gently assists you down the path of spiritual enlightenment. My goal is to take the lessons as I am learning them and living them in my daily life- to further assist my clients in their own healing process as their therapist.
I am deeply grateful to Rev. Youngblood for her love, for her commitment to serve humanity and for her tremendous amount of wisdom that she shares. My life has been truly blessed. My only hope is that I can give back to her and to humanity in some positive manner as a way to express my deep sense of gratitude for my own healing.
With much love,
Cathy Smith-Wenska

about me
I'm an eclectic shaman - a seeker of the spiritual laws of the Universe and the teachings of the ancients. As a practitioner, I combine the healing techniques and teaching methods of many different cultures. Our book, Path of the White Wolf, is a synthesis of wisdom gathered from the four corners of the Earth, taught through the modality of the Medicine Wheel. As a Native American woman of Okanagan/Cherokee descent, I've been a student of my heritage for many years. I've learned from the Indigenous elders of my own tribes, along with Siberian, Polynesian, Celtic and Aboriginal shamen. I believe that the only way to create harmony in these times is to re-educate ourselves in the natural rhythms of our Earth Mother through ritual and ceremony. Many people have lost access to the DNA knowledge passed down through our ancestral lineages. It is my hope to share what I have been taught in ways that will help everyone to "Re-Member" themselves and their innate heritage.
I think I've mentioned the Illuminati and New World Order a number of times when we've been together, however, we're always talking about so many things, one can only take in what's pertinent to one in the moment.
You can look up the Illuminati and One World Order all over the internet. The "Da Vinci" code, about Mary Magdalene, was also about the Illuminati and the FreeMasons. The organization was originally founded by the Knights Templar (the Crusaders, in the middle ages), and transform...

Goodness, its been a long time since i've posted. Life just seems to move more quickly every day. Let's see. I've been to New Mexico twice and am about to go a third time, to look at land and do ceremony. Attended the Green Corn ceremony at Taos Pueblo this spring . . . so moving, and wonderful to watch the children dance. So solemn and working so hard to do it right! Thank the Great mystery some of our children are still being trained in the traditional ways.
Received a message from Carme...

Dear Friends ~
One of my dearest teachers and elders once told me, “Everything is either Love or Fear. There is nothing else. . . Wherever there is great Love, Fear must show itself, in order for Love to shine Its Light and heal the Fear.”
Some of you know I’m a minister, currently living on Maui. Our non-profit organization is called Church of the Earth. We’re a multi-denominational community dedicated to stewarding Mother Earth in a way that will help us to reduce global warming; return ...

Well, dear ones, I think I've finally found 'the place' - now we just need 'the money', LOL! Its a beautiful, full-fledged retreat center an hour north of LIttle Rock, Arkansas.
Arkansas?? That's what I said, too, until I went down to look at it. Traveled most of NW Arkansas, looked at a lot of places, and this is IT! The land is gorgeous (80 acres, half in cedar forest, half in pasture/growing land). The Ozarks are abundant with mountains, rivers, lakes . . . . truly one of the most beautif...

Just spent 4 days on the Big Island, Hawaii, and flew over the new lava flow - what Bennie le Beau says in the message below about the Fire Awakening is so true! Another five miles and the lave will flow over Pahoa town. . . prayers are being said and the lava is building up on itself and stopping the flow toward town. The ceremonies must continue, and it is time for mosre and more of us to awaken. The fires in California are just another example of Mother Earth trying to speak to us in the o...
