There are varying degrees of funkdom. Everyone gets it. My funk usually last a day or two, and my personal pity party consists of laying in bed and reading fantasy novels.

It started Wednesday afternoon with a cough and a sore throat. I slept my way through car trips, lunches, and dinners on Thursday. I was kicked out of my own office on Friday, and languished on the couch all day Saturday and Sunday.
