One thing to bear in mind is solid colors are always softer than prints, something to do with the weaving process. But do take those back. Me? I got really slidey-soft cotton sateen sheets on clearance at Walmart for $25.

The site contains the story behind a Native American ceremony that will be performed on October the 6, 2006 at 11:00 PM. Eastern Daylight Time in the U.S.A. At that time they invite the world’s inhabitants to participate in the ceremony in an effort to protect the environment from man’s intervention. I have a distinct memory of having attempted to make a yarn harness and trying - unsuccessfully - to put my cat into it when I was a little girl. This was long before I was old enough to be reading mythology. I wanted so much to teach the cat to pull a cart I was planning to make out of paper.

This memory was called up a few minutes ago as I was reading a goddess tarot oracle in which Freyja - the Germanic goddess who rides in wagon drawn by grey cats in harness. Hmmm.
I think I have a job. That wasn't so much an interview as being talked at for a couple hours by the manager, and all the clients. As one client asked me to come with her to her Special Olympics track and field practice tonight, and I fixed up another's (non-existent) papercut by running her hand under cool water, and the manager told me to call the main office in the morning to find out where they could get me some hours between now and when the guy I'm replacing goes back to the Peace Corps,...

The good news is, I don't have to work tomorrow (Easter Sunday). The bad news is, come Monday, I need to be looking for a new job. After being yelled at over the phone by my boss for 5+minutes, I got to thinking, "I should hang up, I don't need to listen to this." beat. "Better not, hanging up on your boss is unprofessional." beat. "She needs to not be my boss anymore, cuz I'm not taking this."
