Typical SCAdian, in that there are too few hours in the day to pursue all the areas of interest. I work for a manufacturing company doing cash management for the treasury department, but dream of a day when I can be free to pursue...what, exactly? If I could only figure that out...

I have a cat. I always have, I always will, and sometimes more than one at a time. Deal with it. Dogs are good, too, and I find myself really wanting one of late, but I'm not home enough, so that wouldn't be fair to the dog. Would like to have horses, too, if the property was ever there, but that just isn't in the picture any time soon. I volunteer for a horse rescue group to get my "fix" - HopeHorseRescue.org.

Politics - ugh, I don't fit into any category easily. Very liberal on some things, very conservative on others. And I've got some ideas that would never fly with either party and might even scare off a few Libertarians!! I do like Obama, though, because he's a smart man who, at least now, is viewed well on the world stage (something we need after the Bush fiasco). While I'm not naive enough to think he can bring about nearly as many fixes as are needed in this country right now, I'm glad he won if only to get rid of the Repubs for a while. I wish him the best. I think Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and the like should be run out of the country for the fear- and hate-mongering scum that they are; Sarah Palin and her supporters scare the ever-livin' sh*t outta me - are you kidding me??? And while I'm ranting - I think Fundamentalism in ANY form is a dangerous form of mind control. For what it's worth. And no, you can't convert me.
