She's got a gold tooth you know she's hardcore
She'll show you a good time then she'll show you the door

maybe we can get a tandem bike and cruise around pulling a gypsy wagon
with an old fashioned claw foot tub strapped to the back
and we can fill it up wherever we want
bathing on a mountaintop
giggling under the stars

Gayle,
What can I say about the Saucey Goddess?
She makes me giggle at random moments when I think
of our adventures.
She is truly like Christmas
or shall I say the feeling of Christmas when I was
a child.
She is my secret keeper, my sparkle shawl, rainbow knee socks
she understands the language of hummingbirds
and the hidden path to the land of
mystic hoopers.
Gayle inspires me to be spontanious
She is without a doubt the most luscious pink haired
funky town, boogy down goddess I know
She is intelligent enough to rule the
world with laughter
and on more than one ocassion she has saved me from myself.
She is our family (Michael believes to be a true angel on earth)
Gayle makes the world make more sense, and oneday we will sit on our porch drinking mint juleps
and laugh
until then Gayle reins to be the true Queen of Bloody Mary tour
she truly is one Spicy Lady!

"I serve the highest good, with every breath,
with every footstep, with every thought.
Everything I do is healing.
Every contact I make is a healing one, for myself,
for others, for the earth, for the universe.
I make things whole.
I work for the good of the universe.
And the universe pays my salary.
I am supported on all levels of existence.
I have everything I need and want.
I receive and allow the abundance of the universe.
I am able, willing, ready, and deserving to be supported
by the universe, without limitations.
I am aware of the blessings I receive.
I live in gratitude and appreciation.
I'm okay with the ebb and flow of time, energy,
breath, money, material things, physical sensations,
emotions, relationships.
I give and receive, in balance.
I am whole, and part of the whole."

"There is no life I know to compare with pure imagination. Living there, you'll be free if you truly wish to be."
** Willie Wonka **
"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of overcoming it"
--Helen Keller--
"If you feel fear, walk towards it."
(Martin Luther King Jr.)
"To be sensual, I think, is to respect and rejoice in the force of life, of life itself, and to be present in all that one does, from the effort of loving to the making of bread."
*James A. Baldwin*
"Experience is never limited, and it is never complete; it is an immense sensibility, a kind of huge spider-web of the finest silken threads suspended in the chamber of consciousness, and catching every air-borne particle in its tissue.
<Henry James>
"A Smile is the most basic kind of peace work." - Thich Nhat Hanh
"Listen, the next revolution is gonna be a revolution of ideas. A bloodless revolution. And if I can take part in it by transforming my own consciousness, then someone else's, I'm happy to do it." ~ Bill Hicks
"Friends are just enemies who don't have enough guts to kill you."
-- Judy Tenuta, on Space Ghost Coast To Coast
"To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget." - Arundhati Roy Bertrand
“wasting time is the essence of human stupidity” --- Dr. Albert Ellis
"If the day and the night are such that you greet them with joy, and life emits a fragrance like flowers and sweet scented herbs, that is your success."
~Thoreau~
"How do you listen? Do you listen with your projections, through your projection, through your ambitions, desires, fears, anxieties, through hearing only what you want to hear, only what will be satisfactory, what will gratify, what will give comfort, what will for the moment alleviate your suffering? If you listen through the screen of your desires, then you obviously listen to your own voice; you are listening to your own desires. And is there any other form of listening? Is it not important to find out how to listen not only to what is being said but to everything - to the noise in the streets, to the chatter of birds, to the noise of the tramcar, to the restless sea, to the voice of your husband, to your wife, to your friends, to the cry of a baby? Listening has importance only when one is not projecting one's own desires through which one listens. Can one put aside all these screens through which we listen, and really listen?"
*J. Krishnamurti*
“A healthy social life is found only, when in the mirror of each soul the whole community finds its reflection, and when in the whole community the virtue of each one is living”
~Rudolf Steiner~
"A civilization flourishes when people plant trees under which they will never sit."
--Greek Proverb
"If you want to build a ship, don't drum up the women and men to gather wood, divide the work, and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea."
-Antoine de Saint-Exupery, The Wisdom of the Sands
"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."
--Ralph Waldo Emerson
"The best way to find yourself, is to lose yourself in the service of others."
~Ghandi
"Unless someone like you cares a whole, awful lot.
Things aren't going to get better, they're NOT!"
-- Dr. Seuss, The Lorax
"If those in charge of our society - politicians, corporate executives, and owners of press and television - can dominate our ideas, they will be secure in their power. They will not need soldiers patrolling the streets. We will control ourselves."
>Howard Zinn<
"Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it".
--Groucho Marx
“I have three precious things which I hold fast and prize.
The first is gentleness; the second is frugality; the third is humility,
which keeps me from putting myself before others. Be gentle and you can be bold; be frugal and you can be liberal; avoid putting yourself before others and you can become a leader among men.”
*Lao Tzu*
"Where to start is the problem, because nothing begins when it begins and nothing's over when it's over, and everything needs a preface: a preface, a postscript, a chart of simulaneous events. History is a construct, she tells her students. Any point of entry is possible and all choices are arbitrary. Still, there are difinitive moments, moments we use as references, because they break our sense of continuity, they change the direction of time. We can look at these events and we can say that after them things were never the same again. They provide beginnings for us, and endings too. Births and deaths, for instance, and marriages. And wars."
excerpt, The Robber Bride~ Margaret Atwood
"The greatest calamity will fall on humanity the day all the dreamers disappear."
[Nietzsche]
"It's amazing I won. I was running against peace, prosperity, and incumbency. "
George W. Bush

"Keep my words positive.
Words become my behaviors.
Keep my behaviors positive.
Behaviors become my habits.
Keep my habits positive.
Habits become my values.
Keep my values positive.
Values become my destiny."
~Mahatma Ghandhi~
"When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds; Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed to be."

~ A Good Dj
"I would like to beg you to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer."
"Welcome to Earth, young man," I said.
It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
It's round and wet and crowded.
At the outside, Joe, you've got about a hundred years here.
There's only one rule that I know of: Goddamn it, Joe, you've got to be kind!"
-Kurt Vonnegut
Thank you...!!!!
" ...the more you become a connoisseur of gratitude,
the less you are a victim of resentment, depression, and despair.
Gratitude will act as an elixir that will gradually dissolve the hard shell of your ego -
your need to possess and control - and transform you into a generous being.
The sense of gratitude produces true spiritual alchemy, makes us magnanimous -

People do not die for us immediately, but remain bathed in a sort of aura of life which bears no relation to true immortality but through which they continue to occupy our thoughts in the same way as when they were alive. It is as though they were traveling abroad. ~Marcel Proust

Tell Starbucks to stop lacing its coffee drinks with Monsanto's genetically engineered Bovine Growth Hormone. Tell them that injecting this cruel and dangerous drug into dairy cows is morally unacceptable. By calling them and telling them you'll stop going to their cafes if they don't drop rBGH, you'll let Starbucks know that rBGH is bad for business.
