George Mason's History News Network "Because the Past is the Present, and the Future, Too." so zen. a namaste, etc. ... the newsletter is titled "breaking news" a description i always smile at. heck, we're talking history here.... now this bit of fluff is only four years old, but HNN has all the latest is archealogic...

i read this article this morning and thought, yep, stocking the pond. our military industrial complex luvs its wars. all that great macho killing and tons of money in contracts, etc. and just the pure sense of power down in the groin [sorry, thats sexist. true, but sexist] when it comes to running all over the world and shoving one's way into every little nook n cranny. [ummmmm thomas's english mufffins... oops i digress..].
