i have been a bellydancer for about three years, at Studios 318 in Greensboro under the instruction of Faun Finley and Carmen Cavanagh. I am also knowledgable in tribal fusion and egyptian caberet,, I prefer tassels over coins any day.

I am happy to post this blog, Recently I was in Rikki's (nephew) high school talent show, We did a duet belly dance. This was Rikki's first time belly dancing ever and he did Great!!!! This was his show and i am glad that I was a reason for his success. I am deeply proud of him. He grown so much as a person as well as a dancer. He is my legacy and a New Diamond in the Ruff. Well, this was the busiest week of my life, but it was worth it. I meet Zoe Jakes for the second time and performed a solo at the show. I was so syked and nervous... but I had a BLAST.. I learned so much at Zoe's Workshops and to have the chance to perform with her toped it all. She is the nices person I have ever meet. And she gave me so much inspiration as a Big Belly Dancer. I had just got back from the Rachel Brice workshop. It was fun and the most exciting expeience in my life. We all had a blast, especialy at the Hafla which included performances by various dancers of various styles. Rachel was so nice to everyone and the best teacher that I have ever studied under. I love her goofy side most of all. That is the best part about her is her personality. But most of all I enjoyed the trip with the other troop members of Torque. It was a Sister/Brotherhood ...

I can't wait, I have already been to Zoe Jakes Workshop held at Soulflower Studio last december. That is the first famous bellydancer that i have worked under and now I have the opertunity to work under one of the nation's most famous bellydancers. I am honored. I will be traveling with the others dancers of Soulflower Studios
