Chef Jia's ( local favorites » restaurants ) "Great food, just as good as House of Nanking" Chef Jia's food is great - wonderful food and just cheap (if not cheaper than the muchmore famous House of Nanking. Lots of selection, service is Ok. If you want *spicey* ask for 'hot' dishes and prepare your taste buds for a trip.

The Atlas Cafe ( local favorites » bars / clubs / cafes ) "Nice cafe to hang out and read the paper" Great place to sit and relax. good coffee, good snacks and food, nice patio out back in summer for lounging.

Lovejoy's Tea Room ( local favorites » restaurants ) "tea in style" Being British I am always wary of the quaintness of the tea rooms. This is a pretty good example, however. Cafe Claude ( local favorites » restaurants ) "A taste of paris..." maybe not quite as good as being in Paris .... but at least these are the best croque monsieurs in town.

Church Street Flowers ( local favorites » shops ) "Wonderful flowers, great gifts and cards" This flower shop is wonderful. A good selection of fresh flowers, and a lovely range of gifts and cards for every occasion. Prices are very reasonable.
