I LOVE TribalCon! It's my favorite event EVER! The sense of community, the dance track AND the music track... (which makes it hard for me to pick classes...) all the wonderful instructors, the musicians, and the friendly staff that make the event GREAT. Loud Zoo (our troupe) is dedicated to creating improvisational music AND dance, all at the same time, so this is the perfect place for us! This spring has been incredibly busy, both locally and traveling! After a fun weekend in SF, I taught out at my FIRST Tribal Fest - what an experience! It was such a blast, and the shopping was just incredible. It was great connecting with old friends and meeting new ones! The fire workshop went great and the fire SHOW Saturday night was awesome! THANKS to all the wondeful fire performers that joined together to make it happen. EVERYONE should come to Florida where we spin right on the ...

Ah, I am excited my first instructional video will be out!!! Intro to Fire Belly Dance through Fire By Riz... it's an intro to several fire props. As my first video I've learned so much about the process, never as simple as it sounds. Still not a bad run at *all* plus some really awesome performance moments!!! Can't wait, already planning for the next one... but first, fire performances at SPIRIT and at Tribal Fest! Then Music Camp in Pennsylvania, yum, more percussion and music and danc...

What a fantastic weekend. As Loud Zoo is a groupe of percussionists, musicians, and dancers, we were SO thrilled to find a workshop relatively close by (8 hour drive? is that close?) that offered a track in both! What an amazing time. The only problem is that we had to choose between workshops with Jerimiah Soto (the Solace guy) and Unmata... what a nightmare decision that was! So sad. The show was incredible, the workshops top-notch, and everyone was so friendly! We'll be back.. meanw...
