So on top of friends getting gay-bashed and killed by careless drivers, today I was informed that my brother was diagnosed with Lou Gahrig's disease. No prognosis yet. Lou Gahrigs doesn't have a cure. Usually it kills within one or two years of diagnosis, but some live 15-20 years with it. The only thing to do is wait and see if it moves slowly or quickly.
