Well, I agree with a lot of the advice given on my last blog about buyin' the house. That being said..........

We decided to try ONE more offer. The thing is, I am SURE this is the house for us. As far as, it's perfect for our needs and even the asking price isn't pushing our limit. We have talked (kev and i ) about it with each other til we're blue in the face. We both agree that even tho our pride is taking it up the strata choco lata somewhat, it's more important to us to get this house. The last one we liked we didn't even have a CHANCE on, it was snapped up too quick. With the loan we're getting, we don't have to pay our first mortgage payment until sept 1st if we close on july 1st. we're also willing to go pretty low on the price on our house in order to get this other one. Even if we have to take 20k less on our house, the one we're trying to get is not only a huge upgrade for US as a family (loads more room!) but getting it at the price she's asking is a freakin' STEAL.

i was actually all set to whine about my work out today, but other than being sore (God help me tomorrow) i'm pretty freakin' jazzed about it. my boy and i got these cool "Smart Keys" from the community center we just joined. it's really just a glorified USB key but it not only keeps track of your exercise, progress, goals, blah and blah....it tells you what machines to lift (weights) on, how many reps to do, how much weight to do, blah and bladdy blah. that is of course after we had an initial assessment w/a trainer who went 'round with us to determine how sad and out of shape we are-lol. but i'm pretty psyched about this. it'd be great to actually gain a bit o' muscle (not to be confused w/ a bit o' honey.......that is pornographic i'm sure......oh wait, not that's candy. OH LOOK A CHICKEN!) while losing some o' the fat.

the other really cool thing that happened, oooo besides the Rockabilly Prom we went to......darn........too many thoughts......er......backing up.

so we went to a Rockabilly Prom. I posted pics. It was da' bomb. We all looked cute. the end.

anyway, so the other really cool thing, was that FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER i got clothes given to me. see, i'm FOREVER giving clothes -in lump sums mind you-to other people. i got to fat, i got too skinny, i don't like these anymore, i'm giving up pink for LENT (not really.....i love pink.) whatever. there is always SOME reason i'm gettin' rid of clothes. but i NEVER get them from someone else. seriously, i think the last time was when Bellatrix was still living in L.A. and gave a few of her things. that was a hundred and forty-eleven years ago. And the other cool thing about the chic that i got them from, is she is totally built like me (pear shaped) and nearly EVERYTHING fit great and looked great! yea! i love karma/the golden rule/whatever. i gave clothes to Andi, I got clothes in return. works fo' me!

AAAAND the other other cool thing is I got a WICKED cute vintage lookin' dress from Chop Tops for ten bucks. it totally rocks and has cherries all over it.

oh, backing up again, the clothes i was given are all "normal" (and i use the term loosely) sizes. not a lane bryant tag in the bunch! yea!
