Tax time. Help!

Every year, I wonder what is the best way to do my taxes. Buy software? Download software? Go to H & R? Just do the paperwork myself? I am tax stupid.

What is the best way to do my taxes? What do you do?

oh it just occurred to me: call 211 (united way) in your area. there are free tax preparers for single moms.

you'll benefit from the child care tax credit and since you don't make much the gov will probably owe you big time.

united way can offer you a place to get your taxes done for free since you probably qualify as a low income single mom like i did for so many years!
