the piece is made of concrete that was diverted from the landfill. I had a concrete truck come at the end of a work day and fill molds I built with their leftover concrete. the mosaic parts are tempered auto glass, car tail light reflectors and mirror. the goal was to creatively use materials that would otherwise end up as garbage.
