I was sitting in the sun on our back porch, fixing my zills and adding an extra snap to my bra (it is not triple closed!), while listening very excitedly to the Penguins game. Well, when I finished the last knot and cut the thread, they scored the winning goal! Ah, what a great victory. And, I am afraid, I will need to do the Boys of Winter thing again. Sorry, but this is just too good!!!

I bought a print of Beth's "Freakshow" artwork, which she had exhibited at Art All Night last year. The picture is a bellydancer holding fire on a blue background. It is just so perfect for me, not just because it's a bellydancer in blue, but also because I am a little bit the crazy chick of the neighborhood. Yehaa! I'm very happy! What a fabulous addition to my bellydance art collection.

Boy, that was a major bummer, and part of me is crushed. I had *one* person show up for my workshop :-( I learned that the pre-registration that was supposed to be set up was not there - that leaves me upset and disappointed, that is just not up to my expectations.
