I find it hard to decide where to begin an endeavour like this...
Yana and I spent almost 7 years together, sharing our time and every aspect of our lives. (Sure, she may be pissed that I published that and deny it... but I have the Russion body lotion and fingernail polish remover in my bathroom to prove it!).
Some of the fondest memories of my lifetime came from those years with her.
It would be an incomprehensible effort to list all the attributes, qualities, and goodness in Yana (and, from a slightly self-serving, alpha male, residual protective-jealous standpoint, a pretty dumb effort on my part to let every other guy know). :-)
We all change over the years, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse... sometimes for better, then worse, then really, really worse, then a little better, worse again, a little better, then a lot better... um, where was I going with this...? Er, anyways...
It takes the exceptional love and qualities that Yana shared to leave such an indelible positive impression in my life and a special feeling of love in my heart (perhaps why I still need to eat Tums by the handful).
There were many occasions when it was hard not to be able to share our time, our lives, and our things (I have to buy my own eye liner now), but I'm glad we're now able to share our friendship.
(And she's not sharing with anyone else! Me. Just ME. So get back, Jack. Ha. HA! Mwahahahah!). :-)
My memories with you still surround me, my thoughts of you are always present, and my wishes for you and your ("our") family are always good health, prosperity, and happiness.
The nurses here say my creative writing time is over now, and I have to put my jacket on and go back to my room with the soft walls because I have to be rested for my electrical therapy tomorrow. And the alligator playing accordian on the spoon says to say "hello" to you, too.
